Gather the soil and containers for growing the herbal seeds. Place some holes within the backside of your containers for drainage. Fill containers with soil mix. Transplant them by pinching off the lower leaves. Dig a hole which is sufficient enough to stabilize the plant just over the point where you have pinched the leaves. These leaf nodes will develop roots. Gently flip the pot upside down and enable the plant to fall out into your hand.
Don’t pull the plant by its stem or leaves. Place the plant in the hole and pat soil around your plant. Water your plants every day for a week and two times a week thereafter.
Add mulch to prevent weeds from growing once your plants become a little bushy. This is how to start an indoor herb garden from seeds. Move your plants once they get too big for their pots.
Mild sprays of a liquid natural fertilizer will make your seedlings grow strong. Apply a diluted solution weekly after germination.
